Your Form 130 works a little differently — issued by your bank, not an employer, once you cross the specified age.
Last updated 21 August 2026
Form 130 covers two groups beyond regular salaried employees: pensioners whose pension has TDS deducted, and a narrower category — "specified senior citizens" under Section 402(39) — whose bank handles TDS on pension and FD interest together.
| Regular pensioner | Specified senior citizen | |
|---|---|---|
| Typical age | Any age drawing a pension | 75 years or older |
| Who deducts TDS | The pension-paying bank or employer | An authorised bank, on pension + FD interest combined |
| Certificate part | Part A + Part B | Part C, Annexure II |
| Issued by | Employer / bank | Specified bank |
Basis: Section 402(39) and Section 393(1) of the Income Tax Act, 2025.
Send your Form 130 and we'll confirm whether Annexure II applies to you, and whether the figures look right.
